All materials on the site and other content (together the ‘content’) contained in this site are the property of the Architecture Association of Ireland or its licensors. The content may not be used except as provided for in these terms, without the written permission of the AAI. Where content published on the site is supplied by third parties, you acknowledge and agree that we cannot control and do not purport to endorse such content in any way.
Your use of the site
This site and the services provided through it are for personal, non-commercial use, except where explicitly noted. You may only make use of the content to the extent necessary to allow you to use the site and the services provided through it. Material on this site may be downloaded, viewed and printed for personal non-commercial use. You may not modify, publish or exploit the site for personal gain. You may not remove watermarks or other data attached to any downloaded images or other materials. You agree that you will not damage, disable or impair the operation of this site or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or to networks connected to it, through hacking, spoofing or other such similar means. You shall not use the site for any immoral or illegal purpose.

You agree not to disclose your password and login details to any person for them to gain access to any password-protected area of the site. You agree to take all precautions necessary to prevent unauthorised persons accessing the site using your password and login.
The AAI is committed to providing an accessible website that gives members of the public and the AAI community full access to information, programmes and activities offered through the web. It is also committed to establishing a minimum accessibility standard for web pages.
The contents of this website are protected by copyright, database right, trademark law and other international intellectual property rights. The owner of these rights is the AAI, except where otherwise explicitly noted.
As you use this website, information is received and stored by us. This information is used to enable us to improve the website and to enable us to respond to your requests.
Technical details in connection with visits to this website are logged by our Internet service provider for statistical purposes. No information is collected that could be used by us to identify website visitors. The technical details logged are confined to the following items:
– The IP address of the users webserver
– The previous website address from which the user reached us.
– Click screen data which shows the traffic of users around this website.
– The type of web browser and operating system used by the website user.
The AAI does track the pages browsed by you on the website. This is to enable the AAI to better determine the needs of the users of the website. It is the policy of the AAI never to disclose such technical information in respect of individual website visitors to any third party. This technical information will only be used by the AAI for statistical and other administrative purposes.

If you have given us information about yourself and would like copies of that information, or you would like us to correct any factual inaccuracies in that information, or if you would like that information deleted from our records, then please contact the editor. We will use reasonable efforts to supply, correct or delete information about you on our files. We are entitled to charge you a fee for supplying you with copies of information which we hold.
We will not be liable for loss or damage howsoever arising out of or in connection with your use of the site. For the avoidance of doubt, the above limitations of liability do not apply in the case of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or where we have acted fraudulently. Reservation of our rights
The AAI reserves the right to update these terms at any time. When we do so, we will take all reasonable and appropriate steps to notify you of such changes, for example, by prominently displaying the amended version on the site homepage. These amended terms will take effect from the time they are first published on the site, and from then on will govern your use of it. If you do not agree with the amended terms, you should not use the site.

The terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
